YOU MUST BE A CERTIFIED MASTER NATURALIST OR MASTER GARDENER TO TAKE THIS TRAINING!
Over the course of 8 weeks and 30+ instructional hours, you can gain a greater understanding of entomology.
Some of the topics include:
- the identification of common insect orders,
- an overview of IPM,
- native pollinators,
- arachnid identification,
- medical/veterinary entomology,
- urban entomology, and more.
Registration includes courses provided by experts in the field of entomology, resources and guides, a certificate, and a pin once certification is complete (requires completion of classwork along with 20 hours focused on an entomology project).
Registrants will receive field guides, loupe, and other materials via the mail.

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations received no later than Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2025, will be issued a refund minus a $25 non-refundable administrative fee. If a cancellation or refund becomes necessary, please submit a Cancellation or Refund Request.
Refunds typically take 7–10 business days to process.
