Looking to improve your land management skills and maximize the productivity of your operation?

Join us for a comprehensive, hands-on Natural Resource Management & Pasture and Rangeland Management workshop designed for beginning and intermediate farmers, ranchers, and landowners.

This multi-day workshop combines classroom instruction with practical, real-world application to help participants better understand and manage soil, forage, and grazing systems.

Throughout the event, attendees will engage with industry professionals and subject matter experts while building skills they can immediately apply to their own operations.

Participants will gain experience in key areas, including soil health principles, grazing management strategies, forage evaluation, and stocking rate calculations. Hands-on activities will introduce tools such as Web Soil Survey, rainfall simulation demonstrations, and forage estimation techniques to support data-driven decision-making.

The workshop also emphasizes developing and implementing effective grazing plans.

Attendees will work through grazing plan exercises and participate in guided discussions focused on improving pasture utilization, increasing efficiency, and promoting long-term land sustainability.

A field-based component will provide participants with the opportunity to apply concepts in a real-world setting, including plant identification, soil evaluation, and pasture assessment.

By the end of the workshop, participants will leave with practical knowledge, decision-making tools, and increased confidence to enhance land productivity, improve resource stewardship, and strengthen the long-term success of their operations.
