Learn, Grow, Eat, & Go! (LGEG) is a researched & evidence-based curriculum from the Junior Master Gardener Program from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. This program was developed by Teachers for Teachers! LGEG is a 10-week TEKS aligned program combining academic achievement, gardening, fresh vegetable exposure, physical activity, and school & family engagement. All lesson plans and activity how-to's are provided for you, so no extra planning for our busy teachers!
Join us at the beautiful 200 Taylor St Kornfield Rm Fort Worth, TX 76196 for a one day program on July 20, 2022. Checkin starts at 8:30am with a program start at 9am, lunch will be provided 12-1pm, and the program will conclude at 4pm.
This training will provide each participant how to:
Effectively and confidently lead your class with the LGEG curriculum
Build and maintain a student lead garden
Encourage student to try new and healthy foods
Inspire students beyond the classroom
