The 2024 Junior Master Gardener National Leader Training (2024 JMG NLT) is a dynamic, virtual & interactive training conference to assist participants in establishing and growing sustainable school & youth garden-based programs. This popular conference event for teachers/admin, Extension faculty/staff/volunteers and garden/nutrition/health support organizations is exclusively accessible through a fun, engaging & proven online format.

The 2024 JMG NLT attendees will:

• Become very familiar with all proven Junior Master Gardener curricula/research-based resources through hands-on breakout sessions
• Effectively implement best practices, garden/project-based learning, manage students/groups
• Access class/group registration, recognition and certification options
• Involve local county Extension, volunteers, and parents in your youth garden programming
• Reach into schools, after-school programs/clubs to introduce and cultivate new programs
• Generate funding to support programs *Utilize program resources and marketing materials
• Build long-term sustainability through community collaborations and partnerships

Available CEUs:

14 CPE hours provided by Texas Education Agency as offered through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service at Texas A&M University.

The entirety of the virtual training will be RECORDED. Registered attendees will have access to view ALL keynote presentations/ general sessions/virtual fieldtrips for four (4) months post conference.
