About the Event

Join us for an intensive 4-day event designed for new or inexperienced ranchers and landowners. This comprehensive program covers the fundamentals of soils and soil fertility, forage establishment, pasture management, and livestock utilization.

Key Topics Include

• Grazing management, stocking rate, and body condition scoring
• Planning for profit, horse production, and financial assistance programs
• Strategies for small landowners and essential Texas agricultural laws
• Wildlife management, including white-tailed deer, feral hogs, honeybees, and aquatic management
• Hog trap management demonstration
