About the Event

The Texas Citizen Planner Program is a 6 class training program for local and appointed officials, and other planning-related professionals.

This program will cover planning concepts every local official needs to know - including:

Planning topics and trends for a positive community vision and quality of life,
How to use planning tools to improve development,
Legal and technical aspects of planning

Refreshments will be provided at each class meeting

Available Continuing Education Credits (CEUs)

AICP credits: 1.5 CM from the American Planning Association for each session (9 CM in total)
1.5 CEUs - Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) through The Association of State Floodplain Managers, Inc. (ASFPM) for the May 14, 2025 class session

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations received no later than Friday, April 18, 2025, will be issued a refund minus a $17.00 non-refundable administrative fee. If a cancellation or refund becomes necessary, please submit a Cancellation or Refund Request.

Refunds typically take 7 – 10 business days to process.

The event organizer reserves the right to cancel the workshop if the minimum number of attendees is not reached. A full refund will be given if the workshop is canceled by the organizer for this reason.
