About the Symposium

The primary goal of this event is to connect potential partners to create or strengthen educational program synergies, making positive impacts on the lives of those we serve.

We invite individuals and organizations interested in forming productive, education-focused partnerships in high-population areas to participate in this opportunity.

Event Schedule:

• Day 1: Focus on community partnerships.
• Day 2: Focus on school partnerships, featuring hands-on sessions in the Makerspace at WHI, including:
  • 3-D Printing
  • Laser Cutting
  • Coding with Micro Bit
  • Creation with Cricut Maker

Available Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Hours

• 9 hours (CPE) - Public School Teachers through Texas Education Agency (TEA)
  • NOTE: Attendees can earn up to 9 CPE hours by participating in both days of the symposium.
