About the Open House
Do you want to turn your passion for conservation and the outdoors into a rewarding career?
Join Dr. Roel Lopez, head of Texas A&M’s Department of Rangeland, Wildlife and Fisheries Management, for an insightful look into the department’s diverse programming and exciting opportunities offered to students.
Dr. Lopez will discuss the unique academic tracks students can pursue while earning a Bachelor of Science including:
Rangeland management.
Wildlife management.
Aquaculture and fisheries management.
Outdoor enterprise management.
Natural resources management and policy.
Two dual undergraduate and graduate degree programs that enable students to earn both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in five years.
The webinar will also highlight the many experiential, field-based opportunities available to students, including a two-week summer camp in locations like the Texas Hill Country, undergraduate research, internship programs, study abroad courses, award-winning professional student organizations, and more. Participants will also learn about the diverse employment options available after graduation and hear the success stories of past program graduates.
Following the presentation, students will have the opportunity to ask questions and speak with academic advisors as well as current students of the department.
