Entomology camp exploring the world of insects!
Join us for an exciting and educational adventure at the Entomology Camp, designed for youth ages 7 to 12. Discover the fascinating realm of insects, their vital role in ecosystems, and the wonders of entomology.
Activities Include
Learning Sessions: Dive into entomology basics and explore the importance of insects in our environment.
Hands-On Experiments: Perform fun experiments with live insects.
Insect Collection: Learn how to collect and assemble your own insect collection.
Indoor and Outdoor Exploration: While the camp will be held indoors (with air conditioning), we will maximize our time outdoors using the outdoor classroom.
Camp Materials
All campers will receive an insect collection kit.
Returning campers who DO NOT need a new net and canvas collecting bag, can register as a returner for $100.
New campers or returning campers who require a net and collecting bag should register as a new camper for $125.
Insect Collection Kit Contents
Net, forceps, killing jar, killing solution, pins, spreading board, magnifier, booklet, pens, collection box, vials, and a collecting bag.
Cancellations received no later than 7 days before start of selected camp, will be issued a refund minus a $15.00 non-refundable administrative fee. If a cancellation or refund becomes necessary, please submit a Cancellation or Refund Request.
Refunds typically take 7–10 business days to process.
