This event will be a month-long event from June 17 to July 12, 2024.
Check-in Date: Sunday, June 16, 2024, at 11:00 am at the White Creek Apartments.
Check-out Date: Friday, July 12, 2024, at 5:00 pm.
Lodging on campus, food, research supplies, tours, outings and other associated costs are covered through United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) award funding.
Benefits of the Research Experience:
Implement action research guiding instructional practice and enhancing student learning.
Become an agent of change in the local community for food science and STEM — science, technology, engineering and mathematics field engagement.
Discuss the relationship between nutrition and health, specifically the roles of polyphenols in preventing chronic diseases such as obesity.
Application Details:
Many applications will be accepted, but only 16 applicants will be approved.
Application consists of a submitted essay, to be uploaded during registration.
