This course is designed for OSSF Designated Representatives, Site Evaluators, and Installers requiring CEU hours to satisfy TCEQ licensing requirements. It is a basic introduction to soil and site evaluation and is approved for 8 CEU's by the TCEQ. Dr. John Jacob, the lead Extension Specialist in the State of Texas for soil and site evaluation on-site septic systems, developed the course.
Once you have registered for the course, Texas AgriLife Extension Conference Services will email you a confirmation of your registration, a receipt, and the course enrollment key. You will take the course by clicking on the following link, creating and account, and entering the enrollment key emailed with your receipt: http://campus.extension.org/enrol/index.php?id=90. TCEQ rules state that a course can only be taken once during your 3 year renewal period. Once you register, you have 12 months to complete the course. Your results will be sent to TCEQ after you have completed all quizzes, including the final, with a score of 100%. By the end of the first week of the following month, the course provider will electronically submit all successful course completions directly to TCEQ using your actual completion date, and e-mail you a certificate of completion for your records.
