The Master Wellness Volunteer Program trains people who are passionate about health and wellness to become effective community educators.

These volunteers can have a direct impact on others. They have the ability to encourage lifestyle changes, impacting a person’s health and well-being; creating an improved quality of life for the individual, their family and their community.

Participants in the Master Wellness Volunteer Program training must

  • Complete 40 hours of training via Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
  • Pass a certification exam.
  • Provide 40 hours of service as approved by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service.
  • Maintain a relationship with local Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service representative.
  • Complete monthly activity reports via an online system.
  • Be passionate about serving others!

The Statewide Training Cohort will meet in-person at the local County Extension Office for a face-to-face training on January 23. 2018. The interim trainings will take place via the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service online course system. The Cohort will meet in-person at the local County Extension Office for a face-to-face training on Feburary 28, 2018.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If a cancellation becomes necessary, please send notification to agriliferegister@tamu.edu. Cancellations received no later than January 22, 2018 will receive a refund minus a $10 administrative fee.
