To address the needs of the medical device, pharmaceutical, and food industries the National Center for Electron Beam Research will be organizing its 10th Annual Hands-on Workshop in eBeam Technology  April 15-19, 2019 on the Texas A&M University Campus.   

Session 1 (April 15, 1 PM - April 17, 12 noon)

  • will focus on the use of eBeam technology in the medical device, pharmaceutical and environmental industries,

Session 2 (April 17, 1 PM - April 19, 12 noon)

  • will focus on the use of the eBeam technology for food, pet food, and phytosanitary applications.  

The workshop will be modeled as a Bring Your Own Product (BYOP). Attendees are strongly encouraged to bring their products (medical device/pet food/food/fresh produce) so that they could be included in the hands-on exercises. The focus of the hands-on exercises will be to provide one-of-a- kind in-depth hands on experience in performing eBeam dosing experiments, dose-mapping experiments and eBeam dose tolerance exposures.   You may attend either Session 1 or Session 2 or both. The registration fee covers all workshop materials, lunches, coffee breaks and workshop dinners.

Hotel reservations and costs will be the responsibility of the attendees.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If a cancellation becomes necessary, please send notification to agriliferegister@tamu.edu.  Cancellations received no later than February 15, 2019 will receive a full refund.  Cancellations received February 16-March 15, 2019 will receive a refund minus a $150 administrative fee.  Substitutions are welcome.  In extreme situations, such as Visa problems, a request for a full refund will be considered.
