The Technician Training Course will satisfy the Structural Pest Control Services requirements for certification of Commercial/Noncommercial and Technician licensing of pesticide applicators (8 hours of training). This is the technician general training, and not a category training. The class is from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. with an hour lunch (lunch is not provided). The $150 course fee includes the required category training manuals, the general manual (AES-5073), and the SPCS Laws and Regulations manual (AES-6135), an $45 value, and instruction from experienced Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service trainer, Dr. Don Renchie.

In Person Training

• The category training manual will be given to In Person Training registrants at the training.
• There will be a 1 hour lunch break (lunch not provided).
• The In Person Training is limited to 15 registrants. If maximum capacity has been met and you wish to be added to a waiting list, please email agriliferegister@tamu.edu with the registrant's name, company name, address (city, state, zip code) and phone number. Should space become available, you will be contacted by email.

Virtual Training

• Instructions to access the training will be emailed to Virtual Training registrants on or about one week before the training. If you do not receive this email, please contact Karen Coleman (979-845-1099 or karen.coleman@ag.tamu.edu).
• The category training manual will be mailed to Virtual Training registrants. Please provide a physical address for shipping.
• There will be a 1 hour lunch break.

Please contact the Texas Department of Agriculture Structural Pest Control Service at 866-918-4481 to begin your exam registration.  Applicants must be pre-qualified by TDA prior to registering to take examinations with PSI Services.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If a cancellation becomes necessary, please send notification to agriliferegister@tamu.edu. Cancellations received no later than February 3, 2021 will be issued a $125 refund. If study materials have already been shipped, a $70 refund will be issued. Transfer of class is available at no additional charge for the first transfer. Additional transfers will cost the full amount of the training registration fee.
